medication & guinea pigs!

So now i’ve been prescribed to two different types of drugs and i have to take 5 pills a day for the next week. And apparently i’m going to experience moody side effects. My psychology exam is in the midst of this medicinal pill popping period so this is gonna be exciting... Yay.

I hope i survive this, not long to go... Must keep it up (like this guinea pig here who's looking at me like 'leanne, dont take too many pills or i'll jump off this bed and commit suicide and i'll die because of you')

What a damn cute adorable little thing he is...

Ciao

PS> i really like guinea pigs. When i was 12, i had 23 guinea pigs

pill popping :(

My sleeping habits have been freaking retarded for the past two weeks. Is there something wrong with me? Stress? Sick?

Didn’t sleep at all last night until around 4am... then woke up at midday.. (at least its still an 8 hour sleep...)

I hate being sick and stressed, it just drags on for aaaaaaaaaaages.

And now i need more panadol, zyrtec, tissues and sleeping pills....

But i’m too effing lazy to go to the doctors for pills...
FML.

Please let the holidays come already, i want to die! :(

Sex & Ducks

So my fingers are about to freeze off and you’ve no idea how many times i have to press backspace to get my words right in this one single sentence. But i need to vent about HOW MUCH I LOVE MALLARD DUCKS (because jasons sick of listening to me blahblah about how much i love dippy ducks and ducks with green heads)

OMFG they’re the most cutest things evarrr!

They’re pretty popular around Australia’s urban areas and are very tolerant of human beings. Which makes me think... that i wanna spend a day bird watching at the lake. With a camera and sandwhiches and a bucket of tea or coffee! Maybe not a bucket but a big big big cup that resembles a bucket.

But yes! The female mallard ducks are roaming around in dusty brown feathers and i see them all the time around the lake where i live but i never see the male mallard drakes.. i’m gonna find them one day i will. But the female mallard ducks all look like the other female dappling ducks...
so i don’t know if mallard ducks live in my area.. but i’ll find out once its the holidays and i’ll take a day off to bird watch for those pretty green headed mallard ducks... because they’re just so pretty!

They have green heads and a brown and white body for the male drakes and the females are just.. brown. I don’t get it..pssh, women. They should be prettier! = =

Its always the males that get attention. Pretty colours so they can procreate with the prettiest female ducks so that their offspring can whoop all the other ducks’ offspring and whoop natural selections ass :)

But then again, the prettiest female duck will look like all the other female ducks..so the male mallard drakes probably just go around sexing every female duck there is so he can spread his gene pool. Clever ducks ;)

PS> i can’t believe the green headed mallard duck at cardiology is out of stock, gonna go crawl in a corner and sob :(

PPS> i wonder how ducks reproduce? It has to be internal coz they lay eggs right? Hmm... DOGGY STYLE D:

Self

Get over it, Leanne.

You’re just a stupid, selfish and materialistic girl.

Don’t ask for anybody else to fulfil your desires because if you want something, you do it yourself.

What have you become? Depending on others? You weren’t like this before.

Find your own feet, Leanne.

plain white rice (without the pikachu & the sesame seeds)

Mkays this really dumb and blablah and idontreallycarewhatyouthink but i was thinking about this other night while reading around blogs like the psyche of mikey and galadarling and all them really cool people who have like billions of readers

And if you really think about it these people have interesting lives to write about. They share their insights, attitudes, feelings, perceptions, the way they love the world, hate the world, everything you know?

Like take galadarling, she’s wonderful. She teaches people to love who they are, teaches people to ‘write love letters to the universe’ and likes to talk about the things that she loves on Thursdays.

Or mikey, who talks about his sudden change of moving from hong kong to the UK and kinda just reflects on whats happening. I mean thats a big change and you’ve got something to share.
Call me shallow and stupid, but i have nothing to write about.

All of a sudden life is pretty normal and nothing drastic ever happens anymore. The most stressful thats happened to me lately is uni and the craploads of work i have to do (of which i am procrastinating right now haha) and going out once in a while but even thats mediocre to talk about sometimes because its always the same things, same place. I mean.. its still lots of fun with friends and stuff, but this blogging thing doesn’t really have a goal, writing is harder than i thought – or writing something interesting at least.

Nothing really ever blows your mind anymore. So you can’t really write about it...
But maybe its coz of age... like when you were little and everything fascinated you... and then you grew up. Someone told me once that feeling of when you’re all grown up and bored with life is kind of like the ‘mid life crisis’ of your teenage years.

All of a sudden you grow up and everyone tells you who have to be and what you have to do and nothing fun never really matters anymore. Is this what makes people seem uninteresting? Or am i just talking too much and becoming uninteresting? Or maybe i’m just plain uninteresting to begin with?

So now i’m crapping on about how uninteresting i am and how much of a normal and boring life i have... so what makes life interesting and full of love and excitement? Maybe its having a passion for something; like photography, drawing, painting, writing – you know, doing stuff you really, truly love.

I know friends who have hobbies and things they really love. Like knitting, painting, drawing, cosplaying, sewing, modelling, studying mechanics... and then there are people who are just damn amazing. They’re intelligent, kind, helpful, caring, like.. hell i don’t even wanna describe all that because it’ll just blow your mind.

Bottom line is – i feel plain. Like white rice.

Not soggy rice. Not rice thats been dipped in soy sauce. No toppings. No cutesy shape. No pikachu. Just plain white rice in a silly little asian bowl

Yeah, my analogy sucks but I FEEL LIKE PLAIN WHITE RICE AND I HATE EATING RICE (unless its in sushi..mmm...sushi....)

I’m off, i feel hungry now
BYYYYE ciao :)

out and abouts and skipping uni (again)

Hello all!

Hehe i decided to write a short quick blog post tonight before i hardcore pull an all nighter to work on this

economics ..although economics needs brain power to work and my brain tends to die at crucial moments during the academic year (eg. During the year, before exams, while doing assignments and of course – during all nighters) but yes i will study it to my utmost until i get tired and pass out in a corner somewhere weeping unconsciously.

On a lighter note (HOORAY!) met up with Jason this morning

I was supposed to get there at 8.30 am but instead i slept in dreaming about Benjie being a real dog and me Jason and jenny went to the beach and a Vietnamese festival and we all lived happily together in a hut :) it was a very nice dream indeed hehe

But i made Jason wait an hour, gahh >_<

But when i got there everything seemed okay... seemed.. ha ha but it really was okay after a while coz he seemed a little bit sleepy :)

We ... oh no.. brain fart, i’ve lost it, i’ve forgotten what we did this morning

Oh thats right! We went straight to mr toys toyworld to buy toys for each other

You see, we had this fun idea (my idea of ‘fun’, that is) that since the happy meal toys are getting more crappier every year we decided to substitute our own toys for each other and do the old switcheroo and trade happy meals and toys :)

And thats what we did! I got Jason a purple rubber duck and a penguin toy where you can chuck it into water and it expands and dries like a real toy :) it totally blew my mind so i hoped it blew his mind too! And Jason bought me a ...wait for it... *drum roll* ...DIPPY DUCK omfgs its the best thing ever XD i’m gonna set it up tomorrow afternoon or something coz mum might ask questions about it and i’ll say ‘it was on sale...you know..EOFYS and all that’

Note: EOFYS – end of financial year sale

And then we went to see a movie, the prince of Persia, it was a pretty good movie. I’ve never played the game before but it was good in between some of the other parts..of..the movie.. you know.

Then we went to eat sushi at alan’s sushi place which was uber! Peking duck for Jason and salmon ikura for me! XD

We then went to the funhouse and ran into haiyen and peter it was the most uber thing ever XD we played basketball and got lots of tickets and did all that silly stuff and then we went to play pool where i totally creamed jasons ass (i made him say that for the price of a kiss, haha!) and then we went to go walk around like poohs and ate dinner at aroma garden which was very nice.

The lasagne wasn’t uber fresh, but still good and the fettucine carbonara wasn’t as nice as bubbles, but still decent albeit much more oily... then we went home and blahhh

I miss him

The stupid pooh

Oh well time to cram some psychology for now, hooray! Brainless reading and writing is just so exhilarating! Then while i all nighter i’m gonna fully analyse the workings of economical international trade and hopefully make a decisive choice on whether to research into labour economics or environmental economics... dear me

Well ciao all! :)
Have a super Thursday tomorrow and a great Friday and an even better weekend!

PS. short my ass, this post was longer than i thought

it was an accident, i swear!

Hi all! Phew... i survived today

I feel so lucky to have survived too.

Hear me out dear blog...

This is how it began.

This morning, eating warm lasagne with a nice cup of tea everything was going great and mum dropped me off at the train station to go to uni that morning. Thinking that i was going to be there in time to buy a dress (ten dollars!) with a broken zip (which can be fixed!) was a fail attempt. Because i got there just in time to get to uni on time which meant no time for trying on and buying a dress *sadface*

Headed to uni, had lena walk in on my lecture after a while and listened to lecture guy talk about developmental psychology until i couldn’t handle it anymore and got way too bored so i left about ¾ through the lecture to return library books and went to buy that dress.

Headed to the funhouse soon after, picking up some starbucks on the way too. We then waited for some asian to get off the tekken machine (of which he didn’t, of course... because thats what all the pro’s do. They’re ownage, so they reign the tekken machines, obv) so we went to play DDR and technika instead (failing rather badly on the third stage might i add)

Cue Max at approximate 3:30pm.

Realising it was 3:30 and about time to head off to walk to uni again for my last class that day i said my goodbyes to lena and max. Only this time round, i said good bye to lena...and dinh.

Note to non-existent reader out there on the interwebz: max hates dinh and most likely, vice versa.

Max’s face turned a shade darker, tilted his head downwards, looked at me with hard eyes. Yeah it looked like he wanted to rip my intestines out (i told lena so). I apologized, laughed it over, apologized again, attempted to give him a hug and said a quick goodbye before scooting over to the elevator before i could get gang raped by his friends or my intestines ripped out.

I do not. Repeat. Do not. Understand how someone could rage so harshly and quickly in such little time. Never in my lifetime (as far as i know anyway).

Even dinh, when he tore apart his body kit for his beloved car, was much more polite when he was angry. I mean everyone gets angry from time to time (or really really annoyed) and simply want to throw a fist at someone’s face. Though, the funny thing about humanity is that we’re all brought up, developmentally, shall i say to be polite and kind to others to our best ability in times of acute rage.

Max tried. I’ll give him that. But I’m so glad I took out of there as soon as I could. Max says he was just a bit annoyed. ‘Just a bit annoyed’. If he was just a bit annoyed, i wonder what he’s like when he really loses his temper, or if he’s just being politely sarcastic.

I’ll never know.

Devastating day... but i saw James today, Jason’s friend. I don’t know him at all, just his name and his face. But it was nice to see a friendly face right after that incident *relief*

Well back to my sad sad studying and writing of a management report ...

Ciao! Hope all you non-existent readers are having a better time than me!
