Seriously. No joke.
I've studied for my exams for about 10 hours today, my brain is about to explode and the bags under my eyes are the size of a pandas whole face. Actually, it's been that way for a few weeks now and I have no idea what I'm writing about BUT ANYWAY exams are coming and holidays are just on the horizon. Just you wait, it's blogging season. Let my antics, adventures and opinions be all up in your face. Soon.

thought of the day
One of these days, I'm going to break into your house while you're sleeping, burst into your room and yell LET THE CUDDLING COMMENCE and crawl into bed next to you and fall asleep.
I am so good at procrastinating.

Butter.
For those of you who don't know me, I love butter. Like LOVE LOVE LOVE butter.
EAT A STICK OF BUTTER EVERYDAY.
PS. I think I would like a cat named Butters, if only I wasn't allergic.

Roadtripping to the aquarium (and the adventures along the way ermahgerd!)
Hello! It's been a while since I've managed to write an actual blog post because I've been swamped (not really, I'm just being a bit lazy) with uni work.
In late June, me and Ly HAD to take a roadtrip to the aquarium on the Sunshine Coast. Mainly because I really wanted to go to the aquarium because I missed seeing all the fishies at the Sydney and Singapore aquariums. If you didn't know me, I absolutely LOOOOOVE aquariums. And goldfish.
But anywhoooo, we've talked about going on this trip a while back and since I was on holidays from uni we made it happen >:) I've never actually been on a road trip before, so this was all oh so totally new to me. And to be honest, it wasn't really a road trip since it was only an hour or so drive BUT NONETHELESS it counts because it was so much fun and oh so special to me.
I think Picasa messed up the pictures that were uploaded because the pictures from that morning and missing from this blog post. But in the morning, we stopped by Mos Burger and lost our Mos Burger virginities together, yay! And by 'virginity', I mean never-had-it-before-lets-try-it-together sort of thing. And since I managed to be late (grr, I hate being late!) we had to eat the burgers in the car.
The burgers were so so yummy but there was so much sauce. Half of the trip was spent feeding each other, finding tissues and spots of sauce all over his shirt/my dress. That sentence sounded kind of dirty.
I even brought my SLR camera with me to take purty pictures. Despite the fact that thing is heavy as bricks.
After paying the admission fee they gave us these super awesome shark stamps! They were so AWESOME. I wish they were printed darker though, you can't really see them :(
I think this fish is called a lion fish? I don't know, but it looks like a lion and I've heard that they're deadly poisonous.
And so are rock fish. I'm pretty sure this is a rock fish.
I would make a pretty horrid marine biologist.
And Ly wore the shirt I got him too! So cheesy I wanna punch him in the face.
As a sign of affection, of course.
(I apologise for any violence.)
And cute squeaking otters that smelled like tuna! I never noticed but otters kind of look like cats. And did you know they hold hands when they sleep? They do it in case they drift away from each other in the currents while they sleep. How cute is that? :O
And matching mood rings! His stayed green and blue all the time, which stood for relaxed and calm? And mine was ALWAYS purple. Romance. Bah.
And then we watched the seal show! They were so cute, balancing balls and doing flips and jumps!
But sad story of the day, I wanted a seal kiss and a photo from the seals but being the OCD person that I am, I refused to take the photo by myself and wanted Ly in the picture with me but nooooooo, the seals are trained to be in the picture with one person only and otherwise they might get distracted or something something. Whatever, but it was so sad I wanted my seal kiss!
One day, I shall return. With courage, and I shall have my seal kiss!
And after cruising around the aquarium, we walked along the pier and did awesome stuff. We visited the candy shop and since the aquarium wasn't as big as we expected, we found a place called the 'Bellingham Maze' and it is the coolest thing ever.
Seriously, best date.
It's a hedge maze.
Oh my god.
-dead-
Sadly, picasa is being a poo and not uploading the rest of the my pictures but it was a real hedge maze. The maze was sort of lacking greenery here and there but seriously it was the best adventure ever! Upon purchasing tickets, they would hand you a pencil and a riddle puzzle to solve. Snow White's dwarves are hidden in the maze and you had to find their names matching to the colour of their hats so you could find the missing letters to solve the riddle.
'It's dangerous to go alone, take this!'
ermahgerd it was just so awesome, running around the maze and counting all the dead ends. It's really nice to just go somewhere and get lost, you know? We did find Snow White, a windmill and some giant mushrooms. I wish the photos would upload but they're not. Damn.
One day, I would like to go back to that maze. It really was one of the best experiences :)

Leafie: A hen into the wild
Oh. My. God.
I was on tumblr and heard about this korean animated movie (aka. that bishonen duck movie) and downloaded it and watched it today. It's so sad. Oh so very sad. It's like two generations of death rolled into one kid's movie.
It's about this chicken (yeah, it's a movie about a chicken and some ducks) named Leafie who is a battery hen and she wants to escape and live in the yard. She does manage to escape but the rooster in the yard won't let her stay and she leaves and escapes into the wild where she meets the 'Wanderer'. The Wanderer is an epic anime 'bishonen' duck complete with ragged fringe and a steely eye who saves her from a weasel. Adventures ensure with much cuteness, squealing and quiet sobbing.
I think it's a good movie (or maybe I have bad taste in movies, I don't know). So sad for a children's animated movie :(

Gold Coast
A WHIRLWIND OF ADVENTURE.
Well, not quite. There was a lot of wind though (fart joke not intended.) Several weeks ago, by some act of fate someone had the idea that when Lena and I finished our exams we should totally go and stay at the coast for a night or two. In reality, I/we had the idea to stay at the coast with someone other than my mother, Lena and her mother.
Unfortunately, Lena finished her exams two weeks before I finished. Bah. University y u hate me so much? But in the end we went anyway and I'm grateful that we did end up going because it was good to have a short getaway from my busy household at the moment.
It was also kind of bad luck that during the week we went it was full on raining and it wouldn't stop! And it was so awfully windy, but that didn't stop us!
We stayed at Q1 Resort and Spa, and for a two bedroom apartment it was naaaice. And of course, being me, I always get super excited when I arrive somewhere new and I run around touching and gawking at everything. Then I took photos.
This was actually the 'balcony' of the apartment. If you didn't know, Q1 is the tallest residential apartments in all of ..what? Australia and the southern hemisphere? I was trying to spot the building while driving and I seriously could not see it at first so I had to crane my neck and risk killing some pedestrians on the road trying to get a good look at it ahahaha (luckily, no one died)
But yeah, this is the balcony. It's all super closed off and the windows are super secure in case anyone had the idea to commit suicide. ._.

Camho opportunity :|
Rambo!
After dragging all our things in the apartment and getting settled, me and Lena had a frantic race to find the room with the ensuite. wahaha I beat her to it, the spa is mine! >:D
And then the mothers prepared roast duck and noodles and Lena prepared some hot green tea
After rolling around and settling in, me and Lena went shopping and unfortunately the weather was so windy and rainy I didn't bring my camera at all and didn't take pictures of anything. All we did was shop and then head back to the apartment to order cheesecake via room service. And then we rolled around and did practically nothing all night until we decided it was time to hop into the spa where we threw around bubbles and making a mess in the bathroom. Fun times were had.

Oh and while we were out, we found a little tattoo shop. Don't worry it's temporary ;)
I got a unicorn, because ponies are the best. And Lena got RDJ. Because she thinks Robert Downey Jr. is the best. (But I still think unicorns are better.)
