Right now I'm lacking the motivation that I need to finish another 2000 words on this paper on mental disorders that is due tomorrow. So far I've made progress, but I need to make MOAR PROGRESS.
So of course, I have to go blog about how I'm procrastinating and stuff. It finally hit me that I've been at uni for a good four years now and once this paper is done and my two exams are over, I'll actually have a Bachelors degree in psychology. Golly gosh, I'm super shocked and was so happy that I'll be finishing one of my degrees soon that I went and danced around my room for about 15 minutes before knuckling down to continue doing some more work.
Finally my degree is starting to come to an end. This year psychology, next year business. And the year after I don't know where I'll end up but it'll be somewhere super cool. Maybe I'll travel, take a masters degree or open a business or learn how to make coffee!
After this assignment is handed in I have many many plans and I'll have lots of time to blog again (if my daily life remains eventful). I have plans to cook and paint! I better follow through it'll be so much fun! I'm planning to learn how to make apple crumble, mushroom soup and finish painting my 'now panic and freak out' canvas picture and emulate bei badgirl's merbitch art style. Maybe if I have enough time, I might finally start on that my little pony series I've been dying to do, THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS.
I'm so excited for this semester to be over and I can do super fun things and go out or stay in and lounge around without feeling guilty for not doing anything. I am so ready.
But first things first, I gotta finish this report!
MOTIVATION >9000. I wish, but I'm getting there.

My next step into (perceived) adulthood
I asked my tutor questions about an assignment today. Small accomplishment for meeee, yeaaaah.
I also made a friend at uni today. She's in almost all the same classes and I'm so so grateful to finally meet someone and relate to them! We can be uni buddies and buddy up and save the universe. And do advanced stats together and try to figure out the recesses of psychopathology and abnormal human behaviour. Woohoo!
It's great, really. Sharing ideas with someone and having someone to talk to you at uni, being alone for the better part of 4 years on two campuses isn't really much fun and if I do ever get to meet someone usually it's a temporary friendship that lasts for about a semester, maybe two if I'm lucky.
But I guess I'm okay with that.
Today I met a new friend and she studies stats and psychopathology with me and I was trying so so hard to pay attention in stats class today because I find that when I space out for ten seconds I tend to miss a lot of information about stuff I need to know (which sometimes is quite worrying). I met her today and it was great fun getting to know her but as soon as we delve into stats and paired comparisons and significance of what goes with what she kept talking to me and it was rude to talk during class and rude to leave her hanging and it was hard to pay attention all at the same time!
I didn't know what to do, I think I might have missed out on a few good points. Nobody said adulthood was ever gonna be easy.

When pissed, make a blog post about it
I dunno if this happens to the rest of you students out there who use a printer in their daily life for printing useless shit for school or uni, but this happens to me so frequently whenever I use my god damn printer. Excuse my language.
My printer loves to fuck up right when it's needed most. Last semester when my final assignment was due and I was celebrating the completion of the last assignment of the semester, my printer decides to fuck up.
Real bad.
Luckily for me, I finished the assignment several days before it was due but unfortunately it's never enough for this scumbag piece of technology that I call my printer. I printed the document, half way through it spits out the printed pages and then eats it back up again, consuming half of the document back into its abyss of rotating wheels and ink. The printer is jammed and it tells me to remove the paper jam and press OK. But it's stuck. And I can't get it out and after a good few hours I give up and call my friend to ask if I can hijack her printer.
Thankfully, Canon printers are more reliable than HP ones. Fuck you, HP.
By the time I get back from telling the mythical story of the jammed printer, my mums managed to get the printer working and fix the paper jam. This is what mothers are for, and I am grateful.
And today is the second week of the second semester of 2013, I need to print my tutorial notes for tomorrows class and guess what? The printer fucks up. Stupid thing. I'm ready to trade it in for a Canon now.
I fretted about not having enough paper, but sure enough, there was three reams of A4 paper left in the office. The printer does its thing, and then eats my tutorial notes. You've no idea how pissed I got but I did manage to fix it and then printed it away happily, watching the printer with eagle eyes and then it tells me that I've run out of ink.
Fucking damn it all.

post exam post!
Well, hi!
I have finally finished all my final exams and am thrilled for it to be all over, but I am exhausted. So glad to finally be going on this midweek holiday trip to the gold coast that we planned a while back. Super grateful for finally being able to take a break but still jealous of those other cool kids who get to go to Vegas and Thailand with their partners, BUT THIS WILL BE SO MUCH FUN.
But for now, I'm going to sleep because tomorrow I have to get up at 6am and pack a few more things before we leave and cuddle my dog. He has a very short attention span. I'll post about him another time but I'm gonna fall asleep now.

GUISE I'M WORKING SO HARD TODAY
Seriously. No joke.
I've studied for my exams for about 10 hours today, my brain is about to explode and the bags under my eyes are the size of a pandas whole face. Actually, it's been that way for a few weeks now and I have no idea what I'm writing about BUT ANYWAY exams are coming and holidays are just on the horizon. Just you wait, it's blogging season. Let my antics, adventures and opinions be all up in your face. Soon.

HOLIDAYS weeeew
alsjdflajsfldj Officially finished exams today! Yay! Instead of going out for lunch and a movie with friends I went straight home after my exam to eat and play video games :O -antisocial-
Darling poopface gratuitously bought me Catherine a few weeks back and although spending SOME time on the game, I haven't had much time to play since exams and gayness. So to celebrate the ending of the first semester I sat around for three hours trying to shift around blocks and running away from the psychotic bride. And spent a good time raging over it too, you've no idea how long it's taken me to beat that boss and I'm not even close to finishing the game yet (because I'm noob, shoosh)
AND it gets even MORE exciting.
Maybe.
I'm probably not excited about this as I should be but I'm going to the coast tomorrow woohoo /sarcasm
I don't really feel like going because I'm an antisocial asshole, and since the holidays have just started (for me) I just want to blob and eat the entire contents of my fridge. Then restock the fridge. And eat it again. Rinse and repeat. And it's so sad that the actual person I wanted to go to the coast with was DENIED. And instead I'm going with Lena and her mummy sadface
But I shall bring my camera anyway and take happy snaps of our epic as hotel apartment ..and the spa. Oh god. The spa. I'm gonna live in it.
BUT as soon as I come back from the coast I'M GOING TO THE F-ING AQUARIUM BITCHES. ERMAHGERD. I'm so excited my innards are going to explode. I don't even know if that makes sense. Or if it's possible ._.
BUT NONETHELESS. WE GET TO SEE FUSH AND SHARKS AND MORE FUSH AND SEALS AND STEAL SEAL KISSES OH MY GAWDDDD
-ahem-
It's going to be a very exciting trip, indeed.
PICTURES! These were from my trip to the Melbourne aquarium in 2010. I wandered the aquarium for so long my parents had to drag me out of there because they got so sick of waiting for me hehe derp

HAHAHAHA
so I just went through my archives to link this blog post to my Sydney/Melbourne blog post in December 2010 and guess what?
I NEVER BLOGGED ABOUT IT.

Recent epic adventures
So as of recently, I haven't blogged anything that's actually HAPPENING.Well, in short, EPIC ADVENTURES. Been around and going out a lot. Meeting new people, new interests and a lot of ...new stuff! Especially new places to eat.
I don't have much to say about these pictures, and I'm way too tired to really write anything, so here are a bunch of pictures!
How adorable are these? Went shopping at Myer and spotted these in the middle of nowhere and I couldn't stop squealing! They're cupcake ..cups? And little skewer things omg you should have seen all of the Peter Rabbit stuff Myer has to prepare for easter. It's so cute!
Weeeeeeeeeew, I can't be bothered to blog about anything because I've been so tired lately. One day after another I have no time to do anything! I really like this busy lifestyle but it's starting to wear me out. Especially since I've been staying up to at least 2am everyday.
Bah, anyway, I'm finished here. I'll blog with more quality pictures soon -dies-

Chocolate fondue! The strawberries were really good, and so was the tea! It was my first time at Chatea and it was super nice! My tea tasted really weird though, everyone had a taste and we had a lot of... mixed responses? It looked like we were passing around a bong ahahaha Thanks to the guys that night, we had lots of interesting conversations about martial arts movies, pharmacy, pop culture and travelling. Makes me feel so mature haha
Sushi fest and good gossip at my favourite restaurant before uni :)
And on the way, WE FOUND OPTIMUS PRIME.
Optimus is my idol.

Korean BBQ at Maru! ...minus the BBQ.
Elephants on speed. So pretty...
Been visiting Max Brenner a lot lately, I'm gonna get diabetes.
Did I also mention that I'm very spoilt? Free dinners, desserts and a movie. Chocolate and turkish delights too. I'm gonna get diabetes for sure.

Starting third year
First day of third year uni was awesome. Didn't even go to class. Instead the plans were to go to the gym, but then we got lazy and went to eat korean BBQ and ice cream instead. Bahahaha, it was so yummy I swear my stomach could have exploded.
Headed to the city afterwards, played pool for a good two hours with my noob skills. Browsed JB Hifi for a good hour, and then ate a years worth of chocolate at Max Brenner. Gosh, it's so good... but too sweet! -sugar high-
Don't want to study, just want to eat. Forever.
ahahaha, after eating ALL the chocolate there wasn't much to do but play with it. If you can't read it, it's meant to say 'pooh' but it failed miserably.
The aftermath
And in my defence, I didn't go to uni because I didn't have printed lecture slides! The printer refuses to let me go to uni. It cancels my printing, has a paper jam and then tells me there's a 'General Printer Error'. Pretty sure it's telling me that going to uni is an 'error' and that I should go eat chocolate instead.
Uni & Foster the People
'Ooh la la, I've fallen in love..' This song is so catchy..
Welp, today we go back to uni. And I'm not ready for it at all! Stayed up until 3am doing nothing after I came back from the gym and now I'm just too tired to do anything - let alone sit through a three hour lecture on alcohol and drug studies.
Blarghhh, I'm only looking forward to going out before uni. But I must! Last semester I skipped so many lessons, so now I have to go to ALL of them. Or at least try. Oh god.

Random rendezvous
So a couple of weeks ago two months ago, during the midst of the horrible stacks of assignments that uni has given us, Jess and I decided to go out. You know.. as a procrastination/rest and relaxation day :)
The plan was to go out, dress up a little for a day of fun in the city and take loads of pictures of everything, eat everything and shop for everything (well Jess did anyway, I'm not such a big fan of clothes shopping)
First stop: Sushi breakfast (not pictured) and Supre. The girls there were so lovely, especially this one blonde girl who really made my day. She was so bubbly and fun! She offered to take pictures for us and complimented my shoes (!) and she was dressed ultra prettyyyyy.
And I was somewhat kind of stalking her in the store because I wanted a photo with her. But being the antisocial anxious sod that I am, I didn't manage to ask her :( But by the time I almost gathered up the courage too, the supervisor bitch was like 'Excuse me, you can't take photos in our store' and asked us to delete the pictures we took in the store. Being a sneaky little bitch that I am, I deleted one photo and tried to hide the rest of the pictures I took in the store.
HAHA. Suck it, I still have pictures of your store. What now? -Level 10 Badass status acquired-
Then afterwards we had to eat, shopping makes you deliriously hungry. Well at least, for me anyway, I get hungry when I do anything. So we headed to Nando's for epic peri peri chicken.

Then after nomming and shopping some more (we shopped a lot, trust me) we headed to the Botanic Gardens to meet up with Jason. What a gloomy bitch, didn't want to take pictures = =
He also managed to snag free coupons for ice cream at Gelatissimo. Yaaaay :)

During our super leisurely walk around the bamboo forest in the gardens, Jason decided to be a bit of a dickhead and messed with a bamboo tree. And it snapped and fell = = Thank god not many people were around, it would have been embarrassing, but fun nonetheless.

Jason needs to quit studying Hospitality and become a porn star.

And then after our stroll through the gardens, Jess had to leave for class. So without any hesitation, Jason and I headed straight back to the city and dove into Target because they were having a sale on ponies. My Little Pony to be exact. I love them, I have an obsession.
And by total coincidence, we ran into Chan, Cindy and Tim who were looking for scrapbooking stuff for Cindy's make up portfolio. Apparently it was part of assessment to practice your make up on other people, take pictures and put them together as a portfolio and hand it in. How fun is that? I wish my assessments were more fun and required photography! But sadly, all my assessments require word counts and a huge reference list :(
But yeah, upon hearing this, Cindy was like 'Oh hey Leanne, do you have an SLR camera I can borrow?' And of course, I didn't exactly jump at the idea of letting someone else borrow the SLR camera (that belonged to my dad, mind you). But turns out, she needed a good camera for a makeup photoshoot for her portfolio that was due later that week. And she was super willing to let me do the photography!
So I was super excited about that, but turns out she expected me to model her makeup as well (Shock, horror. Leanne model? Bullshit.) And in the end, I didn't end up taking ANY of the pictures for the photoshoot, Chan and Jason ended up doing most of the photography #sadface But more about that next post!
But anyhow, the scrapbooking escapade at Target was unsuccessful because everything was kind of ugly = = So instead, we headed to the arcade and lost track of time.
It looks like we're gambling, no? Excitedly peering over the table, observing every movement, watching the dealers hands move. But nah, we were just playing Monopoly. (Even though it IS similar to poker D:)
Some random racing car game that allowed you to take pictures of yourself as a profile, Jason decided it would be cool to have a photo on photo inception. Hence him taking a photo of the photo. #yodawgiheardyoulikephotos...
Borderline homosexual picture. Get used to seeing these, Jason are in all of them.
Feeeeeeeeeeet. Guess which are mine?
Chan, pimp as usual.
Pornstar in the making.
Then after going to the arcade we just sort of sat around, loitered in the middle of the street. Just sitting, talking, catching up :) Yeah I know loitering isn't exactly the best thing to do ever, but everyone was just sort of too lazy to think of anything interesting to do and were about to go home. But then at the last minute someone said 'pool' and Cue City has had this sale going on ($8 per hour) and it was super cheap so we went there instead of going home :)
I repeat, pimp.

Artsy fartsy photo of some cue balls Jason took.
Then after finishing a few rounds, we didn't feel near enough lazy to go home yet and wanted to stay out late (being the rambunctious young adults we are) and headed to karaoke where we destroyed Queens' sound system with our loud rapping to 'Shots' by LMFAO. My ear drums died.

At some point, Cindy wanted to sing her 'nigga beats' (aka RnB) and Jason (being the butthole, that he is) decided to butt in everywheeeere. I feel bad for Cindy because all she wanted to do was sing (like a normal person) and instead she had a bit of a rage quit, but it was all for fun :)

After karaoke, I think it was about midnight, which is pretty late on a Tuesday night and we were HUNGRY (like me, writing this post, right now.) And went to Subway and New York Pizza for nibbles.
But instead we just sort of drifted around, talking and having fun as we go. So getting food took a lot longer than it was meant to :)

Gelatissimo was closed, but how GOOD does the ice cream look? I could use some of that right now.

And we took so long loitering around, it was amazing that we managed to actually order our food before the store closed. And having no seats, we (obviously) loitered around on some random seats on Queen St Mall. Because we're cool like that.
The next day, we went out to do Cindy's makeup portfolio photoshoot.Stay tuned, it'll come up in the next part :D
