Evening blogosphere~
Guess what? Today was Wednesday and Jason visited me at university. And we made up over the argument about my friends… well its resolved for now, I guess its one of things that will never be resolved… but for now, I guess its okay. Things will work out in time.
We went to Kevin grove yesterday and Jason gave me three seasons of pokemon to watch and went to a lecture with me and he played dota. Then… What did we do… I went to do my research participation with Carolyn Eagle for an hour and then skipped my tutorial (because the tutor is monotone and the tutorial is basically useless) to go back to Jason’s place.
We were planning to watch a movie but then we realised we didn’t have all the money to watch a movie and such so we went back to his place for the rest of the day. We left at around 6pm back to the city and ate sushi in the city before going home.
I really missed him after all that… I know the argument only lasted three days but it felt a lot longer than that and spending a day with him reminds me how much he means to me. And I really mean it. Sometimes you don’t notice what you have until its gone, that’s how they say it don’t they? Well it was only for three days and he wasn’t necessarily gone but I really enjoyed the day with him and I’m really glad we made up. Even though the problem isn’t totally resolved, cooperation and collaboration really helps this relationship get along.
I just wonder what the outcomes of the future will be because of this argument… future friends, past friends, what will he think of them? And what will he think of me? I guess I won’t know until then… but for now everything is ayy okay
And today is officially Thursday which is my stay home and study all day long day but I had to go into KG to do half an hour of research participation for Rachel Grieve to get course credit. So I travelled an hour on a bus to get to the city and went to KG.
But while I was in the city I ran into Ai-Van at a crossing, me on one side and her on the other. And she introduced me to her friend Ko, he was really nice and they were looking to buy a huge stuffed animal as an 18th birthday gift to their good friend. I showed them Giwawa, the Korean stuffed toy shop with toy machines and they ended up buying a huge as fluffy monkey and a bear hat :) it was really cute, good choice Ai-Van & Ko :)
But after that we had to part ways because I had to be at Kelvin Grove. And Ai-Van offered to drive me home since I was visiting UQ later in the day but then Nghi cancelled at the last minute because his little brother got sick and he had to go home to look after him :(
So then after the research participation, I called up Ai-Van and asked her if she was free after 2pm and turns out she was! So I went to UQ and waited outside the lolly shop and then walked around UQ for a bit!
It looks really nice now, a lot of the buildings look really new and refurbished! The lolly shop is so much more spacious and today there was a ‘utopia’ festival at UQ going on too and they having free airbrushed tattoos! I wanted one but they were closed :(
But after that we walked to Ai-Van’s car and she drove back home to pick up Khang from Darra SS and Nam from FLC and we talked about old FLC teachers and Khang’s monster drawings (my favourite was turtlelet - see photo above). And it was heaps fun and we also filled up Ai-Van’s petrol too :)
Drove back to Ai-Van’s place and then went outside to play on the trampoline for about an hour or two and watched Nam and Khang play soccer! I was official referee! :) and we also found the guinea pig that lives in the corner of Ai-Van’s yard. Apparently they had two guinea pigs and they got out of their cage and now one lives in the corner of the yard by itself and the other one seems to have disappeared! But the one that lives in the corner is rather fat, but very cute :)
We bounced on the trampoline for a while and talked about how Ai-Van wants to join a hip hop dance class as a fitness scheme and I talked about how my dad bought Zumba (the whole package, all the CDs, two dumbbells and a towel) and suggested that we (Ai-Van, Hai-Yen & me) should all do it together because then we’d get to see each other a lot more often :)
I’ll email Hai-Yen about it soon to ask what she thinks about the whole idea :D but I’m open to a hip hop dance class, I suck at dancing but as a hobby, I’d try it out for fun :D
Oh! Also, I ran into Yang. The girl from darra reunion a few weeks back at the same research participation session who’s friends with Tu-Phuong! I thought she looked familiar and we talked and it was quite fun :)
And that’s basically my day so far… tomorrow is a huge as full day of uni and I get to wake up at 6am to take a bus so that’s gonna be heaps of fun. So tonight I gotta sleep early and finish this studying!
Hmm… *goes over things to do in head*
Read anatomy of brain, nervous systems, summarise PYB110 and BSB124. Hand in NEO IPIP to BSB124 tutorial, bring earphones for lab report for tomorrow’s PYB110 tutorial…. What else… sew jason’s ten month gift… email Hai-Yen, read marketing brief guidelines document… hmm.. I’ll take one thing at a time!
For now I shall … I seem to be okay and on track of things at the moment, up to date, I have to say my work ethic this semester is much more organised than first semester. It must mean I’m getting used to it! It’s a great sign and hopefully this work ethic will keep up for the rest of the semester! Wish me luck
Ciao bella!
