Happy horror movie fun times
These guys. This photo is just for me, they said. bahahaha
Mind you, the night before Kerming's little BBQ horror movie rave party I was at a club until almost 6am. You can still see the horrid eyeliner and the bags under my eyes, BUT WHATEVER IT WAS AWESOME.
And too bad it was raining so much that day, but we went in the pool anyway. Fuck weather. Ha.
This was after our epic freezing cold swim. You've no idea how excited I was to finally eat. Alcohol and morning after empty stomachs don't mix, so when Kerming dished out the steaks everyone was barfing rainbows and demanding mushroom sauce.
Dat ass HAHA
And then we fiddled with Kerming's fancypants new Canon G12 camera at the dinner table, the filters are awesome as.
And then after a glorious dinner, we be camwhoring.
This is the attempted duckface.
Long story short, we've got a half caste, two asians, a white person, and a black person. If you know what I mean bahaha fuck we're so racist
and then after some time, we realised that our dearest andypandy refuses to camho with us bitches, so we went to camwhore with him instead. Look how happy he is. Highlight of our day.
Cocktails and mini rave parties were had. And a crazy pictionary game was started.
'Oh shit, this cocktail mixer thing looks like a pig!'
andy is a very attractive penis HAHAHA
One of these days, I'm gonna get sued for defamation bwahahaha
This was my drawing, can you guess what the word was?
Everyone took ages, but Nhu finally got it.
Aaaaaaand, we have a dead body.
Boob groping hands
More camwhoring!
And then we watched the Ring, shit ourselves, then discarded the movie.
Good times.

a short update?
I have a bruise on my left temple, it's hurting more than I expected it to. Oh my god. Headbutting people is more painful than you think. Photos up soon.

oh the humiliation
The photos from Friday night are going to be up soon, I hadn't realised that they were going to be released in three parts. So far, I'm not in any of the first two upload sets. So I'll be in the third.
I'm kind of regretting the part where I drank too much and had to nurse a hangover for a whole day. These pictures are going to be terrible.

-dies-
I should go see a doctor, my wrist is hurting to the point where the pain is extending to near my elbow. Oh goddddd, I'm gonna die. Someone told me that carpal tunnel is a legit excuse for assignment extension.
Maybe it's not so bad after all. FML.

Sydney Part 2
Where did we leave off last? Oh right, first night in Bankstown. Pretty hectic stuff. The next morning we headed out again to trek around Bankstown, the city centre, Paddy's markets (again) and to embark on an epic quest to find the Opera House (and Boost)!
If you missed out on the first part, it's here!
But before we do any of that, breakfast must first be acquired. So being asian and staying in Bankstown, why not go for the best pho in all of Sydney? Pho An - So pho, so good. They don't lie about how good the pho is here. Sometimes I think that Vietnam's original standards of pho is starting to go downhill and this stuff is better. Shocking.
The pho was so awesome. But I think that day I was feeling fatigued or something and I'd lost my appetite a little bit -sadface- that never seems to happen to me. I couldn't even finish a whole bowl, I was so sad D: Alex and Lena were sharing one bowl and I was like 'Are you sure that's going to be enough for both of you!?' Well I ended up eating my own words. Ha, punny.
We had a good time strolling around Bankstown looking for the train station. Luckily we didn't have any trouble, but we did stop into a shop and basking in OPI nail colours. I bought 'Yoga-ta get this blue' it's my favourite ♥ But as of late, I've lent it to Paris. I miss it
Look at all the pretty colours! I wanted to buy more actually, it was still expensive at $12 a bottle. But this stuff in retail costs WAY more. I wanted to buy a red too, but the shades I wanted ran out. Damn.
Sydney scratchie! We just had to get one at the newsagency. Sadly, we didn't win. But we did have a lot of fun on the train that morning.
I think at some point, we were being really loud on the train. Cracking stupid jokes and laughing at 'Canterbury got swag' because it's just so gangster. Bunch of hipster high school kids hanging out at the train station. GO TO SCHOOL, LITTLE CHILDREN.
Now usually, I don't shop. Ever. I'm just anti-shopping. My clothes usually circulate. I have a certain amount of shorts/jeans and a number of tshirts. I wear them, I wash them, I wear them again. I don't shop for new clothes, but when I travel, I go all out. I even shop for dresses -puke- That bag I'm holding? It's got a hot pink and blue dress in it, it looks awesome. But I'll never know if I'll ever wear it. Blame me for being broke.
On our way to the city centre and World Square pulling superhero poses
Doesn't Alex look like a mysterious superhero or what?
And Lena's all chill with her wayfarers haha
I forgot what shopping centre this was called. But the stalls in the centre were just the BEST. Seriously all that shit you buy in Morning Glory is a 'little' bit pricey, but you go out here and they sell the SAME stuff from Morning Glory and other cute things too, more UNIQUE things, and its CHEAPER. How good is that?! And Lena found the Thousand Sunny from One Piece! So jealous, omg. It was like $40 though. In the end we went back to see it about three times, but didn't end up getting it.
But instead we bought a hippo, a penis bird (from Angry Birds) and a bunny without any expression. I named him George.
The Penis bird molested everyone at some point, and George looks like a giant white marshmallow.
I did mention we were on a quest to find Boost, didn't I? The day before Lena wouldn't stop talking about Boost and every half hour she would bring it up. And we finally managed to find Boost at World Square. It was so fascinating because the cups in Sydney were made of this paper cardboard material, and we thought it was the coolest thing ever.
But being practical and all, we didn't get to drink much since we were so busy browsing the shops and the bottom of the cup would just ...mush into squishy cardboard. We didn't want to risk any fruit juice leaks so we had to throw it out :(
AND I got to finally visit Lily and Quyen! Missed these guys so much since the last time I went to Sydney. It's so sad that we didn't get to hang around much since they had a movie to go to and we had a long journey ahead of us :(
Sadly, I wasn't the one holding onto the camera, otherwise I would've taken a few shots of the awesome macaroons :(
We risked our lives for these jumping photos. Seriously, wrong footing and you could roll to your death down these steps.
It doesn't look like much, but holy shit. Also, there was a restaurant on the bottom floor of the Opera House. People were eating. And staring at us. Yeah, good times.
After this, we hopped on an epic ferry ride to...
Believe it or not, Luna Park's iconic face is actually LESS creepy than what it was in the good old days. By the time we left Luna Park, we saw a postcard in the giftshop with shots taken of the 'changes' its been through through the years and we shuddered a little bit.
Luna Park is real nice though, I think it was my highlight of the whole trip because I just love amusement parks. It was small, but it was comforting. With the vintage look, it's a lot more.. cosy?
See these mad scientist looking guys? It was the clown game! After much debate about wasting money we all played, and we all lost. And won little dogs. We called them the 'friendship dogs'.
And then we went in here, it was almost like an obstacle course! There was a little mirror room, huge slides, floors that moved and tunnels that spun. It was awesome! The mirrors were a bit of a disappointment though, I sort of expected it like Infinity but it was so small and was easy to find your way out of it too. sadface. But the spinning tunnel thing was awesome!
Half of the tunnel spins clockwise, the other half anticlockwise. And it was super duper fun because you just ran straight through it! For something so simple, it was pretty surreal. Then the attendant lady was like 'you can't run through it' I swear she was trolling us because then when we tried to 'walk' through it we all tripped and rolled about all over the place. Kudos to Alex, she sort of fell on her ankle and it looked so horribly painful. She's such a trooper :)
And then we boarded the ferry and went home. We scattered all our things all over the bed, examining the success of our haul. We had a LOT of stuff to bring home. And we had to pack that night too since we were leaving the next morning :(
Luckily, packing wasn't too horrid and everything did fit. Eventually. The next morning we headed out to Bankstown and did some last minute shopping. I was banned from buying anything since I bought the MOST stuff and had to rely on Nhu to carry some of my pandas since I ran out of space in my luggage haha I should pack more lightly next time, I have learned my lesson.
That afternoon we boarded a plane back to Brisbane :(
And so concludes my first ever trip travelling with friends! I have to admit, it really opens your mind about organising and planning things. Usually when I go with parents or relatives they plan everything and I just sort of go with the flow, and take a day or two off from them to go out on my own. But this time, everything we planned on our own and it was pretty hectic! With freedom and power, comes responsibility!
Thankfully, none of us were raped, molested or murdered. ahaha I look forward to when I'm rich and I can travel on my own all the time :) And next time, I'll remember to bring my glasses so that I'm not so blind when I'm reading my flight timetables at the airport. Fail.
If you missed out on the first part, it's here!

And the next thing you know, we're hugging giant rocks.
And being awkward tourists in alleyways
I forgot what shopping centre this was called. But the stalls in the centre were just the BEST. I need this for reasons.

Oh a family photo! George, Hippo/Panda and Penis bird.
POTATO. BAKED POTATO. SO GOOD. -dies-
ALL ABOARD THE FRIENDSHIP BOAT.
No, literally, I do not kid you. One of those boats is called 'Friendship'.
Sydney Harbour bridge!
And finally! The Opera House! We walked half a day for this, so we took a load of pictures
