plain white rice (without the pikachu & the sesame seeds)

Mkays this really dumb and blablah and idontreallycarewhatyouthink but i was thinking about this other night while reading around blogs like the psyche of mikey and galadarling and all them really cool people who have like billions of readers

And if you really think about it these people have interesting lives to write about. They share their insights, attitudes, feelings, perceptions, the way they love the world, hate the world, everything you know?

Like take galadarling, she’s wonderful. She teaches people to love who they are, teaches people to ‘write love letters to the universe’ and likes to talk about the things that she loves on Thursdays.

Or mikey, who talks about his sudden change of moving from hong kong to the UK and kinda just reflects on whats happening. I mean thats a big change and you’ve got something to share.
Call me shallow and stupid, but i have nothing to write about.

All of a sudden life is pretty normal and nothing drastic ever happens anymore. The most stressful thats happened to me lately is uni and the craploads of work i have to do (of which i am procrastinating right now haha) and going out once in a while but even thats mediocre to talk about sometimes because its always the same things, same place. I mean.. its still lots of fun with friends and stuff, but this blogging thing doesn’t really have a goal, writing is harder than i thought – or writing something interesting at least.

Nothing really ever blows your mind anymore. So you can’t really write about it...
But maybe its coz of age... like when you were little and everything fascinated you... and then you grew up. Someone told me once that feeling of when you’re all grown up and bored with life is kind of like the ‘mid life crisis’ of your teenage years.

All of a sudden you grow up and everyone tells you who have to be and what you have to do and nothing fun never really matters anymore. Is this what makes people seem uninteresting? Or am i just talking too much and becoming uninteresting? Or maybe i’m just plain uninteresting to begin with?

So now i’m crapping on about how uninteresting i am and how much of a normal and boring life i have... so what makes life interesting and full of love and excitement? Maybe its having a passion for something; like photography, drawing, painting, writing – you know, doing stuff you really, truly love.

I know friends who have hobbies and things they really love. Like knitting, painting, drawing, cosplaying, sewing, modelling, studying mechanics... and then there are people who are just damn amazing. They’re intelligent, kind, helpful, caring, like.. hell i don’t even wanna describe all that because it’ll just blow your mind.

Bottom line is – i feel plain. Like white rice.

Not soggy rice. Not rice thats been dipped in soy sauce. No toppings. No cutesy shape. No pikachu. Just plain white rice in a silly little asian bowl

Yeah, my analogy sucks but I FEEL LIKE PLAIN WHITE RICE AND I HATE EATING RICE (unless its in sushi..mmm...sushi....)

I’m off, i feel hungry now
BYYYYE ciao :)

out and abouts and skipping uni (again)

Hello all!

Hehe i decided to write a short quick blog post tonight before i hardcore pull an all nighter to work on this

economics ..although economics needs brain power to work and my brain tends to die at crucial moments during the academic year (eg. During the year, before exams, while doing assignments and of course – during all nighters) but yes i will study it to my utmost until i get tired and pass out in a corner somewhere weeping unconsciously.

On a lighter note (HOORAY!) met up with Jason this morning

I was supposed to get there at 8.30 am but instead i slept in dreaming about Benjie being a real dog and me Jason and jenny went to the beach and a Vietnamese festival and we all lived happily together in a hut :) it was a very nice dream indeed hehe

But i made Jason wait an hour, gahh >_<

But when i got there everything seemed okay... seemed.. ha ha but it really was okay after a while coz he seemed a little bit sleepy :)

We ... oh no.. brain fart, i’ve lost it, i’ve forgotten what we did this morning

Oh thats right! We went straight to mr toys toyworld to buy toys for each other

You see, we had this fun idea (my idea of ‘fun’, that is) that since the happy meal toys are getting more crappier every year we decided to substitute our own toys for each other and do the old switcheroo and trade happy meals and toys :)

And thats what we did! I got Jason a purple rubber duck and a penguin toy where you can chuck it into water and it expands and dries like a real toy :) it totally blew my mind so i hoped it blew his mind too! And Jason bought me a ...wait for it... *drum roll* ...DIPPY DUCK omfgs its the best thing ever XD i’m gonna set it up tomorrow afternoon or something coz mum might ask questions about it and i’ll say ‘it was on sale...you know..EOFYS and all that’

Note: EOFYS – end of financial year sale

And then we went to see a movie, the prince of Persia, it was a pretty good movie. I’ve never played the game before but it was good in between some of the other parts..of..the movie.. you know.

Then we went to eat sushi at alan’s sushi place which was uber! Peking duck for Jason and salmon ikura for me! XD

We then went to the funhouse and ran into haiyen and peter it was the most uber thing ever XD we played basketball and got lots of tickets and did all that silly stuff and then we went to play pool where i totally creamed jasons ass (i made him say that for the price of a kiss, haha!) and then we went to go walk around like poohs and ate dinner at aroma garden which was very nice.

The lasagne wasn’t uber fresh, but still good and the fettucine carbonara wasn’t as nice as bubbles, but still decent albeit much more oily... then we went home and blahhh

I miss him

The stupid pooh

Oh well time to cram some psychology for now, hooray! Brainless reading and writing is just so exhilarating! Then while i all nighter i’m gonna fully analyse the workings of economical international trade and hopefully make a decisive choice on whether to research into labour economics or environmental economics... dear me

Well ciao all! :)
Have a super Thursday tomorrow and a great Friday and an even better weekend!

PS. short my ass, this post was longer than i thought

it was an accident, i swear!

Hi all! Phew... i survived today

I feel so lucky to have survived too.

Hear me out dear blog...

This is how it began.

This morning, eating warm lasagne with a nice cup of tea everything was going great and mum dropped me off at the train station to go to uni that morning. Thinking that i was going to be there in time to buy a dress (ten dollars!) with a broken zip (which can be fixed!) was a fail attempt. Because i got there just in time to get to uni on time which meant no time for trying on and buying a dress *sadface*

Headed to uni, had lena walk in on my lecture after a while and listened to lecture guy talk about developmental psychology until i couldn’t handle it anymore and got way too bored so i left about ¾ through the lecture to return library books and went to buy that dress.

Headed to the funhouse soon after, picking up some starbucks on the way too. We then waited for some asian to get off the tekken machine (of which he didn’t, of course... because thats what all the pro’s do. They’re ownage, so they reign the tekken machines, obv) so we went to play DDR and technika instead (failing rather badly on the third stage might i add)

Cue Max at approximate 3:30pm.

Realising it was 3:30 and about time to head off to walk to uni again for my last class that day i said my goodbyes to lena and max. Only this time round, i said good bye to lena...and dinh.

Note to non-existent reader out there on the interwebz: max hates dinh and most likely, vice versa.

Max’s face turned a shade darker, tilted his head downwards, looked at me with hard eyes. Yeah it looked like he wanted to rip my intestines out (i told lena so). I apologized, laughed it over, apologized again, attempted to give him a hug and said a quick goodbye before scooting over to the elevator before i could get gang raped by his friends or my intestines ripped out.

I do not. Repeat. Do not. Understand how someone could rage so harshly and quickly in such little time. Never in my lifetime (as far as i know anyway).

Even dinh, when he tore apart his body kit for his beloved car, was much more polite when he was angry. I mean everyone gets angry from time to time (or really really annoyed) and simply want to throw a fist at someone’s face. Though, the funny thing about humanity is that we’re all brought up, developmentally, shall i say to be polite and kind to others to our best ability in times of acute rage.

Max tried. I’ll give him that. But I’m so glad I took out of there as soon as I could. Max says he was just a bit annoyed. ‘Just a bit annoyed’. If he was just a bit annoyed, i wonder what he’s like when he really loses his temper, or if he’s just being politely sarcastic.

I’ll never know.

Devastating day... but i saw James today, Jason’s friend. I don’t know him at all, just his name and his face. But it was nice to see a friendly face right after that incident *relief*

Well back to my sad sad studying and writing of a management report ...

Ciao! Hope all you non-existent readers are having a better time than me!

seven months ♥

Fwee! Evening everyone! Guess what day it is today?
Today is the nineteenth of May! Which means it has been six months and approximately thirty days Jason and I have been together and that means tomorrow is our seven months! I’ve never been in a relationship for this long so it’s really exciting and new for me :)

Today instead of attending my usual morning tutorial and lecture..and also management tutorial I skipped all of them to go to Jason’s house to study. Which.. technically, we didn’t study at all and instead did other things that were much more interesting and set your heart pacing a lot faster than a virtual business design project would ever be able to do (unless its due the next day and you haven’t written a word of it, then it would send your heart racing through the roof).

But I manage to write something in the end! Say... two sentences probably around 30 words... I guess that still counts for something but I’ll be up tonight pulling an all nighter to make up for my silly procrastination so don’t you worry! :)

Anyhow, when it was 3pm, Jason’s little sister Jenny came home and we greeted her with a cheeky ‘Hi Jenny!’ from under the covers. Yes she did realise what we were wearing quite soon, smart child she is :)

But enough of that, I gotta stop procrastinating and actually do something! I waste so much time and I underestimate my time wasting extraordinaire powers myself. Harr harr

Goodnight everyone! Ciao! Wish me luck so I can sleep and stay up all night! :)

fete 2010 & lala asian reunion ♥

FLC fete 2010 & LALA asian reunion at oishii sushi restaurant :)

Todayyyyy was the day of the flc fete! Isn’t it exciting? I got to see a few of my old friends that are still in high school and see some old teachers and it was just really super exciting!

In the morning I had a bit of fight/argument with Jason because he changed his mind about going to the fete because of certain reasons but in the end he came anyway.

So at 1.30pm we went to the village to get his hair cut at tmh salons and went for fish and chips. We were so awfully full after fish and chips! All we had was one fish, one serve of chips and a medium bowl of pasta and it was so filling we had a little bit of leftovers from the pasta... which a crow stole.. and i quote myself ‘The crow just stole our pasta! JASON! We have to go back and eat it because it just stole a piece of our pasta!’

Yeah, i’m strange and interesting in a few ways...

Then after eating and Jason’s haircut we went to the fete where we met up with a few old friends and walked around! Cantabile and the choir were really good and so were all the other performances that were set up! The performing arts at FLC always amazed me with their talent!

It gets me thinking about how i was ever able to be a part of it when i was in chorale a year back.. i really miss it! Waking up at 6am to get to practice on time, but nowadays i wake up at 5am just to catch a bus to uni... I wish i was still part of some choir..only they probably don’t wanna hear me sing so no auditions for me please! >_<

We then ran into alex and nhu and loc soon after and kept alex company at her second hand book stall which was really interesting a lot of good books around too! Hahaa after alex’s shift was done at the stall, we all went on the sizzler where the ride spun around and around and it was so much fun! Hahahaha then we all went to crash on a patch of grass to watch the fireworks where lena and andy joined us later on :)

Then everyone kinda left after that and LALA asian went to oishii sushi, with andy driving Jason home (or as far as the trinder park train station) (it makes wonder, would it have killed anybody to drive Jason just straight to his home? Its a few streets away..its not that difficult, no matter how impatient dinh is, or how hungry lena is... it wouldn’t make a difference would it?) no matter.. no point bringing it up now anyway

So we went to sunnybank and ate sushi pretty much. There was a lot of sashimi... two plates of sashimi and another plate of salmon sushi and some seaweed dish and to finish off with green tea ice cream. Dinner was yummy :)

Well then we drove home, dinh dropped me off and everythings all dandy coz i got home earlier than i thought :)

Well its 11.30 now and i’m quite tired... since i’ve gotten home i’ve been a little worried about Jason.. i asked him to call or text when he got home so i could know that he’s safe.. but i haven’t heard from him at all.. i’m sure he’s alright :)

Well goodnight!
Ciao! Hardcore study day tomorrow! Wish me luck! Have a fantastic weekend (or whats left of it) :)

baby let me take it downnn ♪

Baby let me take it down ~ (song lyrics i'm listening to lol)

Haha hi all! Guess what tomorrow is? Its the FLC fete and LALA Asians reunion! I dunno if i had started this blog during year 10 where lala asian was a big thing back then... well lala asian was our asian groupie of the four of us lena, dinh, andy and myself

Together our initial of our names make up LALA (lena, Anthony, leanne, andy) LOL

And for the first time in three years we’re gonna get together and hang out for dinner at oishii sushi restaurant together! But before then i’m going with dearest Jason to go get his haircut and then to the flc fete :)

Haha today is only a short post coz for some reason my left hand seems to be really weird at typing today and i have lots to study for as i am also pulling an all nighter tonight

Wish me luck! Tomorrow will be heaps of fun! I wish i could post all the photos i always took on here but blogger uploads take AGES >_<

Anyway, have a fantastic weekend all !!
Ciao!

fabulous break before the all nighters? yes, please.

Hey all!

Why has my blogging habits dropped this year aye? Uni starting and all and i’m starting to get super lazy haha

Well just recapping whats been happening in the past few weeks

Especially that super fun weekend where i skipped my studying duties and ran off with the family to go fishing and send off aunt’s mother to farm to work!

We stopped by Wivenhoe dam to have a little picnic and basically just spend quality time together before pulling out the fishing rods and managing to catch one tiny little fish hahaha but it was still fun because we all got to hang out and take lots of pictures! They’re on dads sony camera though..not mine so i can’t really access them to upload.. but i’ll try to when i get my hands on that camera (because i already stole the cable for it, wahahaha)

That day i managed to read a few pages out of my management textbook and basically ate cookies and other little tid bits all day. Oh and i did also learn how to hold a fish! I didn’t catch anything, so i couldn’t release anything. But dad did and he let me do it (:

Then on the next day i woke up very early to go over to alex’s house at precisely 7.45am (of which i turned up late to anyway) and drove to nhu’s house to welcome/kidnap her away to somewhere special for her 18th birthday! It was a great day~ we picked her up (nhu thought we were going to go hiking), drove her to coopers plains train station and waited for a train where loc and Daniel and Jason even though Jason didn’t show up and ended up taking a taxi ($20 worth) to the next train station to hop onto the same train (oh dear me)

Headed out to the beach where we threw each other into the water countless times, then made a penis sandcastle and took photos and then hit the water again then hiked up to a picnic bench outside and ate cake, cupcakes, cookies and egg sandwhiches with apple juice and talking about nothing in general. We then headed to infinity where we screamed in the black and hairy rooms and ooh and ahhed in the techno laser lights and the seizure themed room with the gym balls hahahah

Then we basically hit the timezone where everyone ran out of energy and simply just died and walked around playing games lethargically hahaha

We then headed home where alex misread the bus times and took a train to Helensvale instead of Nerang and went home from there where i went to the Buddha fest with jasonface and watched akaHash play live and watch the fireworks before splashing around in the fake beach and heading home

Overall that weekend was just so uber :D
I love having a social life

Too bad i don’t have one now coz assessments are eating at me everywhere. But i will lighten up as i get to see haiyen and aivan tomorrow morning! It was haiyens birthday not so long ago and avian got her a watch and i’ll be pitching in with aivan for it! I can’t wait!

Well have fun and enjoy your fabulous TGIF and weekend folks! Ciao!
