Hi everyoneeeee
I haven't had any access to the internet (minus the disgusting internet cafe in Singapore) lately and haven't had the time to blog. Damn travelling is hard work. So much walking, but its all worth it when you get to soak in all the culture and feast your eyes on basically everything.
As you probably know, I've been in Singapore for the last three days and I have a billion pictures to show you, but frankly I'm too tired to blog about anything right now. So just proving to the internet that I'm alive haha
Staying in Vietnam at the moment, and today I am soaking up the internet juice that I've been lacking (because I am extremely fond of internet usage haha). But for now, I'm gonna play with aunt's puppy. Because puppies are cute yay puppy puppy puppy

Oh hai guise,
Guess who's gonna be boarding a plane this morning? ME. I'll be heading to Singapore and Vietnam this holiday for five weeks. And you know what? I'm miserable about it. For once I wanna stay in shitty little Brisbane!
Probably wouldn't have been able to do much if I stayed here, but fuck I'm tired of traveling. In all honesty, I just wanna go to Singapore. Don't wanna go to Vietnam, it's smelly and shit. But blah blah family etc. damn.
Gotta go board a plane soon. Hopefully will be able to blog whole I'm gone. Goodbye Internet.

a lot of wasted time
So the next day after a shopping spree and the random rendezvous, it was superly duperly agreed on that I would help Cindy out with her makeup portfolio by lending her my camera and my face. It was actually agreed that we would meet up around 11am, and by golly, I always arrive on time (excluding the instances where I go to class) and as usual, I was right on time!
Waited for Cindy and Chan to arrive for about 15 minutes, and thought... 'it's been a while, maybe I should call them'. They didn't pick up. So I decided to head to uni to bum in the library and use the internet, because by then I'd been waiting for about half an hour with no sign of them or no message such as 'I'm running late, I'll be there soon'
Luckily for me, I ran into Paris and Nhu who were about to go to lunch and so I was like 'OMGTAKEMEWITHYOU, I'VEBEENSTOODUP' and being the awesome people that they are, they let me drag myself with them.
So being a pathetic loser who was stood up (not even by a guy on a date, mind you #sadface) I tagged along and we headed to the markets to see if there were any good foodie stuffs available to snack on.
We stopped by the bestest stall that sells the bestest brownies ever. Have you heard of them? Dello Mano. Even Ashton Kutcher and Oprah love them. Google it!
This guy, is the father of the son who created this whole entire business name. I remember when I had a job and money, I would go to these markets every Wednesday with Jason and talk to this guy. He's so sweet and nice, always giving out free samples and telling us about his business. (That's how we found out his son was the creator of the epic brownies, no stalking involved and no restraining orders required!)
I think their main shop is in Newstead (Shop 10/194 Breakfast Creek Rd) and the brownies sell for $5 a piece. I know its darn expensive, but these babies are good. Amazingly good. Trust me. Right now I am extremely jealous of Oprah, who is like crazy rich and can afford all the brownies she could ever want :(
Did I also mention that they have a whole full rainbow of flavours? You can get the classic (my favourite ♥), peanut butter, ginger and orange, espresso walnut, macadamia, coconut and lime and for those who are allergic to wheat and whatnot, they have gluten free too!
These things are amazing, I like to imagine that for my future wedding (which is nonexistent in the foreseeable future #foreveralone) I'll have these brownies as favours. And for the wedding cake, A GIANT BROWNIE. AND I'LL EAT IT ALL. Mine.
^ And then I'll look like this.
Also, I found these little tartlets adorable toooooo. (Aren't they?!?!) I really want to try the cute little caramel ones, I loooooove caramel ♥ But I'm afraid I don't know much about this stall, all I know is that their sweets are fucking adorable and probably fucking expensive too :(
But I do know that these tartlets are made by some awesome people from Madderz by design who specialize in high tea and event catering. I think these are required for my future nonexistent wedding too. #eatALLthesweets!
Nhu bought awesome sausage from the German Sausage Hut. Right now, I'm hungry. This post isn't helping at all.
And Paris bought awesome yoghurt. I don't really like yoghurt that much, unless its chocolate. So I feel less bad for writing this post now hahaha
But yeah! So afterwards, we decided it would be nice to bum at Southbank because it was a nice and cool day, so we just basically sat around for hours waiting for Cindy and Chan to arrive. At this point I wasn't too happy about being stood up for hours to help out with someone else' assessment that was due the next day.
Beggars can't be choosers, I say! You need my help, at least show some respect and show up on time! And I DID have a class to attend to that afternoon! (Which I ended up skipping because I had to wait for them! Grr!) But I am so thankful for Paris and Nhu showing up, if it weren't for them I would have just gone home and it would have been a waste of time, and I'd look like a bitch for leaving my friends hanging when I said I would help. Bah, ethics. You screw me over so bad.
So yeah, all we did was bum at the markets and lay around on the grass at Southbank for what was (literally) hours. Like five hours of waiting, really. I did get a phone call but something happened in the connection and stupid blah blah I dunno what happened. But at some point, Jason finished TAFE and came to see us at Southbank and was surprised that Cindy and Chan hadn't shown up yet. So we all ended up bumming on the grass waiting for them = =
And then Jason took photos with his super photography skills.
And we got so damn bored waiting around, we ended up going to the lolly shop nearby and buying a big pack of gummy lollies, chocolates and Jelly Belly jellybeans. Then proceeded to the closest place that sold ice cream. #I'mafatass
It doesn't look like much, but there are a LOT of jellybeans to be eaten in there.
Green tea ice cream! With whipped cream and hot chocolate fudge on top, gosh it was yummy.
Yeah, pretty much the wait of five hours just resulted in four uni kids just sitting around, loitering and eating everything. But luckily, those two did show up for the aforementioned makeup photoshoot. (Thank god.) But you'll see the results in the next post!
Also, as of two days from now, I'll be in Singapore! Gonna go shopping and spend my money (as if I have lots to spare = =). And then after spending three days in Singapore, I'll be in Vietnam. I'll be a millionaire! For once, currency exchange will be at my advantage! I'll try to blog as often as I can, but I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to bring my camera with me :(

Aren't they just adorable?!?! As much as I love them, I won't be able to resist eating them. And thinking about it makes me a little sad inside, but then again.. my stomach will be so happy.

Random rendezvous
So a couple of weeks ago two months ago, during the midst of the horrible stacks of assignments that uni has given us, Jess and I decided to go out. You know.. as a procrastination/rest and relaxation day :)
The plan was to go out, dress up a little for a day of fun in the city and take loads of pictures of everything, eat everything and shop for everything (well Jess did anyway, I'm not such a big fan of clothes shopping)
First stop: Sushi breakfast (not pictured) and Supre. The girls there were so lovely, especially this one blonde girl who really made my day. She was so bubbly and fun! She offered to take pictures for us and complimented my shoes (!) and she was dressed ultra prettyyyyy.
And I was somewhat kind of stalking her in the store because I wanted a photo with her. But being the antisocial anxious sod that I am, I didn't manage to ask her :( But by the time I almost gathered up the courage too, the supervisor bitch was like 'Excuse me, you can't take photos in our store' and asked us to delete the pictures we took in the store. Being a sneaky little bitch that I am, I deleted one photo and tried to hide the rest of the pictures I took in the store.
HAHA. Suck it, I still have pictures of your store. What now? -Level 10 Badass status acquired-
Then afterwards we had to eat, shopping makes you deliriously hungry. Well at least, for me anyway, I get hungry when I do anything. So we headed to Nando's for epic peri peri chicken.
Then after nomming and shopping some more (we shopped a lot, trust me) we headed to the Botanic Gardens to meet up with Jason. What a gloomy bitch, didn't want to take pictures = =
He also managed to snag free coupons for ice cream at Gelatissimo. Yaaaay :)
During our super leisurely walk around the bamboo forest in the gardens, Jason decided to be a bit of a dickhead and messed with a bamboo tree. And it snapped and fell = = Thank god not many people were around, it would have been embarrassing, but fun nonetheless.
Jason needs to quit studying Hospitality and become a porn star.
And then after our stroll through the gardens, Jess had to leave for class. So without any hesitation, Jason and I headed straight back to the city and dove into Target because they were having a sale on ponies. My Little Pony to be exact. I love them, I have an obsession.
And by total coincidence, we ran into Chan, Cindy and Tim who were looking for scrapbooking stuff for Cindy's make up portfolio. Apparently it was part of assessment to practice your make up on other people, take pictures and put them together as a portfolio and hand it in. How fun is that? I wish my assessments were more fun and required photography! But sadly, all my assessments require word counts and a huge reference list :(
But yeah, upon hearing this, Cindy was like 'Oh hey Leanne, do you have an SLR camera I can borrow?' And of course, I didn't exactly jump at the idea of letting someone else borrow the SLR camera (that belonged to my dad, mind you). But turns out, she needed a good camera for a makeup photoshoot for her portfolio that was due later that week. And she was super willing to let me do the photography!
So I was super excited about that, but turns out she expected me to model her makeup as well (Shock, horror. Leanne model? Bullshit.) And in the end, I didn't end up taking ANY of the pictures for the photoshoot, Chan and Jason ended up doing most of the photography #sadface But more about that next post!
But anyhow, the scrapbooking escapade at Target was unsuccessful because everything was kind of ugly = = So instead, we headed to the arcade and lost track of time.
It looks like we're gambling, no? Excitedly peering over the table, observing every movement, watching the dealers hands move. But nah, we were just playing Monopoly. (Even though it IS similar to poker D:)
Some random racing car game that allowed you to take pictures of yourself as a profile, Jason decided it would be cool to have a photo on photo inception. Hence him taking a photo of the photo. #yodawgiheardyoulikephotos...
Borderline homosexual picture. Get used to seeing these, Jason are in all of them.
Feeeeeeeeeeet. Guess which are mine?
Chan, pimp as usual.
Pornstar in the making.
Then after going to the arcade we just sort of sat around, loitered in the middle of the street. Just sitting, talking, catching up :) Yeah I know loitering isn't exactly the best thing to do ever, but everyone was just sort of too lazy to think of anything interesting to do and were about to go home. But then at the last minute someone said 'pool' and Cue City has had this sale going on ($8 per hour) and it was super cheap so we went there instead of going home :)
I repeat, pimp.
Artsy fartsy photo of some cue balls Jason took.
Then after finishing a few rounds, we didn't feel near enough lazy to go home yet and wanted to stay out late (being the rambunctious young adults we are) and headed to karaoke where we destroyed Queens' sound system with our loud rapping to 'Shots' by LMFAO. My ear drums died.
At some point, Cindy wanted to sing her 'nigga beats' (aka RnB) and Jason (being the butthole, that he is) decided to butt in everywheeeere. I feel bad for Cindy because all she wanted to do was sing (like a normal person) and instead she had a bit of a rage quit, but it was all for fun :)
After karaoke, I think it was about midnight, which is pretty late on a Tuesday night and we were HUNGRY (like me, writing this post, right now.) And went to Subway and New York Pizza for nibbles.
But instead we just sort of drifted around, talking and having fun as we go. So getting food took a lot longer than it was meant to :)
Gelatissimo was closed, but how GOOD does the ice cream look? I could use some of that right now.
And we took so long loitering around, it was amazing that we managed to actually order our food before the store closed. And having no seats, we (obviously) loitered around on some random seats on Queen St Mall. Because we're cool like that.
The next day, we went out to do Cindy's makeup portfolio photoshoot.Stay tuned, it'll come up in the next part :D
